Kylie Jones – Swim Instructor & Adaptive Aquatics Specialist

Kylie Jones is a dedicated swim instructor and adaptive aquatics professional committed to helping every child develop confidence, safety skills, and a lifelong comfort in the water. She holds a Level 4 certification with Swim Angelfish, demonstrating advanced training in child-centered, developmentally appropriate swim instruction focused on safety, trust, and individualized learning.

Kylie has completed in-water adaptive swim instructor training, equipping her with specialized techniques to support swimmers of all abilities, including children with sensory sensitivities, physical challenges, and diverse learning needs. Her professional experience includes serving on staff with Colin’s Hope, where she contributes to water safety education and drowning prevention initiatives that impact families and communities across Texas.

Before launching her independent instruction services, Kylie spent nearly three years working with a local swim school, where she refined her teaching style and gained extensive experience working with swimmers of varying ages, abilities, and comfort levels. This experience shaped her personalized teaching philosophy and ultimately inspired her to branch out on her own, allowing her to serve families when and where they need it most through flexible, individual instruction.

She is also an active member of the Association of Aquatic Professionals, regularly attending conferences and continuing education events to stay current with the latest research and best practices in learn-to-swim instruction. Through ongoing professional development, Kylie maintains expertise in teaching children across the full spectrum of abilities and learning styles.

Known for her professional yet deeply compassionate approach, Kylie creates a calm, encouraging environment where swimmers feel safe, understood, and empowered. She has a particular strength working with neurodivergent children, using patience, structure, and individualized communication strategies to meet each swimmer where they are. Her lessons emphasize trust, consistency, and positive reinforcement, allowing children to progress at their own pace while building genuine confidence in the water.

Kylie believes swimming is more than a skill, it is a life-saving foundation that every child deserves access to, and she is passionate about making that opportunity inclusive, supportive, and joyful for all families.
